Xien industries have developed a proprietary design for corrosion Inhibitors XC-44 and XCI-12 to protect client assets such as surface and subsurface tools from organic and inorganic acid treatments used in fracturing and matrix stimulation treatments.

XC-44 is a quaternary surfactant with blend of solvents to inhibit the organic and inorganic acids from causing pitting and erosion of the metals over the duration of the treatment. Hydrochloric acid concentrations up to 28% in addition to Mud and Clay acids 12% hydrochloric acid to 3% hydrofluoric acid.

The product is specially designed to handle temperatures up to 250 oF with inhibition effectiveness up to 16 hours. Temperatures above 300 oF can be further enhanced by XCI-12 intensifier with equivalent inhibition time of 16 hours.
